Berger Minimum Expansion Velocity

I am looking into building a short barrel 6mm Dasher for hunting and steel. Online alot of individuals reference the 105 Berger Hybrid as a fantastic bullet for the Dasher. I was wondering what the minimum reliable expansion velocity would be for the 105 Berger Hybrid? I have read on here that Bergers need at least 2000 fps to reliably operate. Is that all Bergers? Has anyone killed deer and elk with the 105 Hybrid consistently below that 2000 fps threshold?

Not the 105 Hybrid

1800 fps for me. Quite a few whitetails and hogs close to that, but only 1 elk.

6.5 140 VLD Hunt @ 1750-1775 impact velocity. Elk stood for about 10 seconds after impact and fell dead.

That's 1 instance though, not 100.

I believe Berger has stated 1800 FPS in their hunting line. I personally use 2k for a little margin of safety.

I don't have the velocity numbers but I know a guy who's a dasher nut and a gun builder. He built a short lightweight dasher a few years back and took a large bodied WT in North Texas at a little over 600. Lets say he was at max performance for a short barrel of 2800 fps, the bullet would be in the high 1800's at 600 yards.
Even at a more realistic 2700 fps, it's doing 1800 at 600.

The 105 and 109s are efficient little killing machines and very slippery through the air.
