Berger Long Range Hybrid Target Terminal performance

I can only speak to the process of cutting the nose ring and shooting accuracy. Zero complaints there but have not had an opportunity to shoot any game at this time.
Ok thanks I've been curious how this bullet would perform on game with the cut in them. Even shooting them into gel would be interesting.

They have done very well for me, however i only have experience with higher impact velocities mainly in pigs. i haven't seen anything below 2500 fps impact so take that with a grain of salt

Going to try some. See if they're any better grouping than the 88's and tmks. 80 eldx was a total failure in testing.
I'm probably not a good enough shooter to notice the group size I'm getting with my current loads to be fair. But tinkering is half the fun.

My mom took Tylenol when she was pregnant with me, but only when she was hung over

Give the 80.5's a run as well. Very accurate & has been great terminally for me as well

I too settled on just using the 147s for my 6.5 prc. Still rocking the regular hybrid target 215 out of my 300 though and loving it. I did have a friend kill a muley with a creed with one of the 144 LRHT at 430 yds and it was dead on its feet. Still don’t know of anyone who has killed with the 153.5 version I was originally interested in though.
my wife killed a muley buck with a 153.5 last year. it was only like 110yds iirc. Hit in the pocket, he dropped in his tracks though, no exit.

Did the gutless method in a hurry so no internal observation.
