I have had a Bergara in a 6.5 PRC. With Hornady ammo, shot 3/4" groups all day long. HOWEVER... Something you need to be aware of. Not with Bergara or Tika, but with the 6.5 PRC cartridge. I had 2 rifles chambered in the 6.5 PRC. Had a Bergara, currently have a Browning. I had ejection issues with the Bergara and worked with their Customer Service (which kinda sucked...).
I sent the rifle back to them after taking it on a hunting trip. When I fired the round, went to eject, on the bench is was perfect. In the field, a different story. I had jam after jam after jam. I could not figure it out until I videoed myself in slow mow running the rifle. The case would hit the rear of the ejection port and throw it back onto the stack in the magazine.
I took it back to my local Scheels where I bought it, talked with them about it. They took a Seekins rifle in the back and tried the same thing, running it fast and slow with a piece of fired brass. It functioned just fine, but it also had an angle cut on the ejection port. They sent it back to Bergara for me for repair, saying they agreed with me 100%.
After sending it back to Bergara, they got it, said it ran just fine for them. They sent me a video showing it functioned fine. In the video, it did... however, it wasn't my rifle in the video. I called them to ask about the rifle and emailed back and forth. They told me their gunsmith was able to duplicate the issue in my rifle after sending it back a second time. I asked what they were going to do for a fix, and they told me the fix was to not run the bolt so fast so the case had time to eject properly... I told them that wasn't going to be a fix as they obviously don't hunt.
I got with my local Scheels and they talked with their rep, who agreed with us and said it was an issue, he bought the rifle back at full purchase price. I bought the Browning after that.
I had the exact same issue... After talking with Browning, they told me they have had a few people complain of this, and it's not a fault of the rifle, it's a fault of the case. The case is short and fat, with most all the mass at the rear of the case by the head. When you run the action (short action), the case is long enough that it doesn't have time to eject properly and hits the ejection port. That's why you see some rifle's have recessed ejection ports, or at least angle cut ones.
However, I have a friend of mine who is a gunsmith and he suggested putting in a 2nd ejector. After that, the Browning I currently have runs flawless, regardless of speed. So if you get a 6.5 PRC, regardless of brand, be prepared for this issue unless you have a "custom" style rifle.
Otherwise, it's a fantastic cartridge. I highly recommend Berger ammo/bullets, by far the most accurate out of my Browning.
