Bergara B-14 Squared Crest Carbon or better option?

I know some people don’t love Bergara, but I’m not finding alot of bad things to say about this specific model… Has some great components and specs for a 2k ish budget.

Is there anything better in a 7prc sub 7lbs and 22in or less barrel? Going to run suppressed. I handled one at the store and I liked it…

I have a steel barrel and a carbon barrel B14 squared both chambered in 6.5 PRC. Both are excellent rifles and shoot very well. In fact the other two Bergara’s I have shoot awesome too.

It seems like there is always some Bergara bashing that goes on, and I don’t doubt people have had issues, but that has not been my experience at all.

Do you know what the barrel OD is right at the end where the brake starts?
