Anyone running the guardian plate (or similar) with a range finder pouch ? I'm considering moving my pistol from under my marsupial harness to behind it, via the guardian plate (s&s archery sells it), but am worried about it interfering with my range finder pouch that is on my harness . Obviously want the draw unobstructed....but also need that range finder available for my right hand during archery

I'm a little surprised I wasn't able to find more on this type of carry setup around here....them again, maybe I'm searching for the wrong thing ...

If you use a Bino pack like Marsupial where the RF pouch attaches inline with the straps then yeah they do get in the way.

This is why I like the FHF Fob harness as the range finder pouch is mounted directly to the side of the Bino pack. Leaving the area behind it open for the pistols grip to pop out and be accessible.

It all depends on your gun and body geometry too though.

Your pistol grip stick out of the back to the draw side and the carrier plate actually attaches to the webbing on top/sides where your harness connects - due to that having accessory pouches on the right is a no go, at least in my use. You might be able to get away with the RF pouch on the FHF as others have mentioned but I’m not positive, have only used it with a marsupial bino harness.

Be using it since it was introduced and it works fine. I did add some gatekeepers for easier mounting. I also have been doing this way with other holsters which also worked. I would mount the RF pouch to the side of the bino harness.

I moved my range finder to the left side. I was worried about it being on the other side but it hasn’t been an issue and I still operate it with my right hand. When I need my range finder I put it in between the guardian and the bino harness.
