My buddy's son is getting a bow for Christmas and I'd like to get him something to go with it. My thought was either broadheads or a bugle. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'd like to set him up with something he can learn with or start with and build around.

My opinion....mouth piece bugles just delay you from practicing to get good with a mouth diaphragm. Start him with the best tool for the job from the start.

Like others said the thunder bugle or even a power bugle is pretty easy learn. Also agree with jared on getting him a mouth diagram and a tube right from the start.

Not sure how old he is, etc., but a subscription to the Elk Module, etc. at Roe Hunting Resources ( roehuntingresources.com ) would be a nice gift for the up and coming elk hunter/caller.
