Weakest bear in the world. When I worked in Yosemite back in the day they had no problems getting into or out of cars. They'd break door frames, windows, rip through seats to get into trunks etc. This bear must have been "special".

In fact, preventable bear deaths from heat exhaustion inside of cars are up 100% in the last five years (ya know, because no other bears have died like this in that time frame, so...statistics).

Weird, I live close by and I didn’t hear about this. There have been 4 bears euthanized already this month in east TN. Two of which were result of attacks. One was an elderly woman sitting on her porch. The other was a woman and her 3 year old that were attacked in the middle of the night while camping at a campground in the Smokies. We need a spring season!

Reducing the speed limit on roads would be a common sense first step to prevent more bear driving deaths.

They had to shut down Tennessee CSI unit because of lack of dental records and all the DNA was the same.
