Hey, im planning on heading up northern bc with my dad and doing a mountain caribou hunt this August. Got roughly a month off and was just looking for some pointers. Would like to hike in or charter a plane without any guiding services but not sure what areas to hit up. Would appreciate any tips or advice, Thanks!

Assuming you're a BC resident you might want to apply for one of the LEH areas. There is some really good info online that goes into all the different herds and their approximate populations. That will help you a lot to find out where you should look.
