Never heard of standby hours. States can have different laws but that sounds dumb. They pay payroll tax on what they pay you so ot cost them more.

Just seems to be a never ending take, take, take.

The whole thing pisses me off. They lied. It's supposed to be no tax on OT. I expected no tax on OT, not the BS they did. If I worked 10 hrs of OT and my base rate is $20/hr, I expected a $300 deduction not $100 for just the half time extra. F all of the dirt bags making these laws. I see all the corruption. The billions they piss away on nonsense and blatantly steal, and they couldn't just give working guys an actual break? "It's better than nothing" right? Enjoy your crumbs.

They wouldn't answer, just simply started is not that big of a deal, it's only a few hundred dollars guys.

Always interesting how when it’s someone else losing 100 bucks it’s no big deal but when the company has to lose 100 bucks, it’s a big deal.

The person that said it is sitting right around a $250k salary. Couple hundred bucks isn't much to them, but it sure is to the blue collar under them!
