If it passes, I wonder what the law will be for those already in possession. Are they transferable same as a new one, etc. Knowing government they will leave that for the unelected bureaucrats to make up policy to fight over for the next 20 years.

I get it… but 37 T came over how many years…. our country has been in debt since 1835

37 trillion - most minds can't even wrap their head around how much that is. I am glad there are some legislators trying to cut spending and reduce fraud, but the reality is they have let the debt get so far out of control there is no way it can be addressed by either party by just putting forward spending bills that are like a drop in the ocean. The best we can hope for at this point, is to hopefully just not increase the debt any further.

I agree it would be like worrying about when the sun goes supernova….. there will be a huge debt there long after our great great great grandchildren are chasing elk
