Basemap Issues?

Is anyone else having issues with BaseMap? Half or more of my stands or markers will not show up on the mobile app. I can create a marker right now and nothing shows on the map. It seems that nearly every marker I have created in the last year or so won’t show on my phone. I have emailed BaseMap support and all they can tell me is to delete and reinstall. I’ve done it 3 times and it makes no difference. It is almost like all my markers and stands are defaulting to “hide on the map”. I can go into my saved items and all of these items are set to show on the map yet they don’t. I can see all my markers and stands on the desktop platform.

I liked the app and had been happy with it but I am unfortunately at the point now to going to another platform.

I will send you a PM and see if we can figure out an alternative if the uninstall/reinstall isn't working. Unfortunately this "disappearing" marker issue has been a tricky one to figure out for users experiencing it because we haven't been able to replicate the issue.

I appreciate it. I really like BaseMap for whitetails and would prefer to keep it.

Did they get the tracking and distance issue corrected with the Android phones that we were having issues with this summer. I was using it in September during some upland hunting and the distances seemed a little wacky still.

Yes or at least we haven't heard any complaints from Android users about tracking this Fall (except a few folks that were on old versions of the app without the fixes).

This exact thing happened to me about a month ago, after a week it just started working again. No idea why.

You're not alone BaseMap's mobile app has been glitching hard on markers for months. Google Play reviews are full of crashes and invisible pins, just like yours. Reinstall's their lazy canned fix, but if desktop syncs fine, it's a cloud mobile bug. Bail to onX Hunt flawless markers, better layers, same price. You'll be plotting stands again in no time.
