XOP Fly Stand Too Noisy

I purchased a new XOP Fly stand at the Mobile Hunters Expo last year. Unfortunately, I was not able to use it all last deer season because it's so loud. The platform has this "ting" sound, like a tuning fork, when the tread on my boots move around on it. I've tried to stealth strip some of the webbing in the platform but that didn't make a noticeable difference.

I'd like to find a heavily sand textured powder coat or some type of sand embedded coating to reduce the "ting" noise and offer traction! I've attached a photo I ran across that shows exactly what I want, I just don't know what it is! Any recommendations or help would be greatly appreciated!

I doubt an even layer of paint will affect the ting, AND almost any coating that you spray on is going to quickly wear off. Maybe try some spray on bed liner? The rubberized material may wear better and reduce noise more. The most effective remedy for this I've seen is the folks who wrap their stand in p-cord. It'll take a lot of cord and adds weight when you have that much cord, but its the quiestest thing going.

Random link here that I didnt read, but there's a picture showing what I mean:

I appreciate the link! That might just be the route I go!
