I’ll probably get flamed for posting this, but I like the adjustability of the Banish 30 V2. Being able to go from a 6” to 8” can based off preferences is not a bad thing. Specs on the can have gotten shorter and lighter since the original.

Flame away, but the Banish 30 V2 doesn’t look all that bad.

I’ve been shopping it as well. Do you have any experience shooting Banish suppressors? They do not seem to get a lot of love here. Looking for first suppressor for range/hunting and multiple rifles.

If you look at how Banish .30 caliber suppressors test at the TBAC Summit, they are quite solid, middle of the road suppressors. For a muzzle forward suppressor, I think they are outclassed by the Reaper.

I like the Banish 22 and am very happy with the two I own.

Take apart centerfire suppressors just add moving parts where they aren’t needed.

I don’t have a banish but do have a take apart centerfire suppressor, I will never buy one again.

Are you referring to any suppressor that can be disassembled for cleaning, or specifically ones that can be run at 2 different lengths? I thought being able to take them down for cleaning was a good thing, 2 lengths seemed cool for switching from range practice to hunting. Not worth it?

For cleaning. It’s just not needed with modern titanium suppressors.

I loath having to clean my griffin can. My titanium sealed cans I just put an ear plug in and fill them with clr
