So they go from long to short. But if the long one at 8"+ doesn't suppress better than some of the newer 6-7" cans that cost the same and weigh less, is it really a benefit?

I'm not saying it's a bad can, just not attractive as an alternative to other options.

I’m not sure on this. My old banish 30 in 9 inch configuration is notably quieter than my new raptor 8 even with the reflex on.
