Agree, I tried it a few time in the military as other guys swore shaving helped. It just made thing worse.

Other lessons.

Vaseline can collect dirt and make an abrasive slurry.

Talc products can clump and form abrasive little balls of talc cristals.

100% , powder just clumps and chafing, I like Chubb rub , stick antiperspirants, Duluth underwear, anything but cotton

I'm surprised nobody trains for this. I give a couple streams of OC spray on my berries before my runs and hikes in the summer, and they laugh end up tough as pig ears all fall.
