I wanted to mix it up a bit so I mixed bacon crumbles, shredded mozzarella and hatch green chilis into my elk burger the other day. For seasoning I added salt, pepper and garlic powder. Then mixed well and made into thick patties. I cooked them on the Blackstone to get a nice crust on the outside. They were absolutely delicious. They have already been requested for this weekend.
