Hello Guys - sorry about the "47 questions" but I love hearing about how folks from other countries hunt!
So - how many people who hunt with take-down rifles actually take them down for the walk in? The walk out? Other stages of a trip?
Over here I think most hunters seldom take down their rifles, except maybe when carrying a big load of meat in difficult terrain. That's possibly because we don't operate a tag system and legally, if you see an animal you can usually shoot it (whether that's ethical or a good idea is a different story)
