Alright, I just got home and will finish up this thread. As mentioned I wanted to post what I was seeing out on the mountains as most people will never get to experience this famed mule deer unit. This is a special place to me. It just feels different than any place else I have hunted. I absolutely love spending time out there and the views never get old. It is between Canyonlands and Capitol Reef which gives it so much contrast. The drive out there is like you are entering another world. It feels ancient. There is so much nothing, yet the area shows you what time and erosion does over such a long period and that is something.

Very cool indeed. I remember reading about the Henrys when I was younger and living in WI. Getting to hunt it myself was a dream come true. Having now also hunted it with my wife just 3 years later is just amazing luck.
