I am not much of an elk hunter so if I a going to drive 12.5 hours, all the time and money to hunt elk...well its got to have horns. I can kill cows a lot closer to home.

This is a little misleading.

You have to fill out the info on your phone AND Carry a pen + tape/paper to fill out then attach the harvest number to your kill.

I'd argue it's less simple. I've done the e-tag twice in AZ twice in the past 2 months and may just go back to the old school way.

Yea, I had a deer tag in AZ 2 years ago and initially chose the "E Tag" option because my home state (MT) does it really well. The way AZ does it is trash, as stated in your post, it was simpler for me to just get a paper tag on my way down to my unit than deal with the app and carry a paper etc with me hunting.

You can always find another piece of flagging to write the tag info down on. At least that's how I look at it. I loose stuff sometimes though.

I checked my portal this evening and says for elk not drawn. But doesn't say anything about pronghorn. I looked at my son's dashboard and it says not drawn and points only pronghorn. I'm not sure why it's not showing my pronghorn information. Either it's just not up yet or hopefully it's not because I somehow messed up and didn't get in the draw.

If the application doesn't show you likely didn't apply. You would have been emailed an app receipt from cybersource.

That kinda happened to me but with WY points. Was certain I purchased points, was probably even on the webpage, and must’ve got distracted and didn’t complete the transaction. The next year I checked my total only to realize I didn’t purchase points.no email records, the points total on my account was one short, so yeah I must’ve not done it. I was so irritated with myself since I’m normally up on all those deadlines

Holy cow 6a early archery bull with zero points!! Have only elk hunted for two years in NW Colorado OTC so will be very different but hopefully should be more animals
