I got drawn again for unit 10 - but zero outfitters are interested in guiding there. Even the outfitter that told me to draw for unit 10!!

I’ve heard mixed reviews on the unit for Muleys & it doesn’t look like anyone has high confidence in hunting there. Pointguard to the rescue!!

So, you’ve hunted the unit before? You won’t hunt it because you don’t have a guide or based on what you’ve been told?

I’m a NR & would prefer an outfitter as I know zero about the area.

I know there are access permits you need too & would prefer local knowledge.

Have your tried Timberland Outfitters? We've used them several times for guides and scouts and had great results.

They don’t guide Mule Deer in Unit 10 - as with most other AZ outfitters - they prefer Kaibab or Strip hunters.

They did recommend unit 7&9 - but I was only 30% draw odds. I have point guard - can always try again next season.

Well, unbeknownst to me & not reading the fine print. I can’t use point guard twice for the same animal (mule deer)

I had 9 points - outfitter told me to draw unit xx & now they’ve ghosted me. Zero luck finding any other outfitter’s that guide in Unit xx either.
