Yes. Not so much at shorter distances but I shoot a longer bow better at 40+ yards than one that is shorter but slightly faster. More forgiving, balances better.
Yes, what they said above, more forgiving, generally better balance which leads to better longer range accuracy, etc.
Unless you do a lot of tree stand hunting or ground blind where space is really limited, your average shots are 20-30 yards, or are a very technically proficient archer, longer will serve you better.
I think most people will shoot a longer ATA bow slightly more accurate than a shorter one, but there are a ton of other factors that make a difference as well such as brace height, cam systems, type of rest, and the list goes on. Fit of the bow to the shooter is most important to me personally, then draw cycle, cam system and tunability.
