Shoot a left hand VXR 28. Put new strings and cables on over the winter and now hitting 6 inches right. Adjusted the sight and got it close bit still about an inch right and maxed out the windage. Something seems off, but not sure where to check. Bow is in spec, with brace height, axle to axle and poundage. What do I need to check?

Check the cams, are they bent? They probably are fine, but it's good to see. Check timing, the new strings may have altered the timing. Also paper tune and check for a tear. Is there fletching contact on the rest or the roller guard?

Set your rest to 13/16” centershot then paper or bareshaft tune. It’s possible that the string/cable change threw your bow out of tune. If you see a significant horizontal paper tear or horizontal POI difference between bareshafts and fletched shafts, use top hats to shim the cams left/right as needed. Also check for contact between the vanes and rest or cables.

I checked my center shot and somehow it was moved to 15/16th. I adjusted back to 13/16 and will start from there. I guess that would tell
Me why impact were significantly right. I will retune and go from there.
