Does anyone have any experience with these guns? How do they shoot? Specialty caliber?

Thanks in advance.

I have a Austin Halleck 420 in a .50 cal. It's a stout rifle with excellent accuracy with pure lead conicals. It also shoots the Hornady FPBs relatively well (2" groups @ 100y). I've only shot 777 from it. I believe there is a conversion breach plug with allows the use of BH 209. I would bet the use of this powder would greatly benefit the issues I had with stuck breech plugs. It's biggest drawback. Other drawbacks: cheesy safety lever (too easily nudged into fire position) and weight. On the counter: accurate, nice trigger, solid balance and relatively mild recoil. Hope it helps.
