ATV to a SxS Who’s made the switch?

After almost a year, made my decision. Going with a Honda Rubicon, it checks all the boxes. Has IRS, EPS, shaft drive and is automatic or push button shift. Like the idea of running it in 2wd and having a locking axle. Should fit the bill perfectly.
Thanks for all the advice.

We went from a rancher to RZR-900 trail. I kept the rancher for when I'm by myself and and in real rough / steep stuff, other than that its the sxs all the time. 10 miles on the rancher and your beat. 125 miles on the RZR and you think about getting back to camp. The noise is my biggest bitch on all the sxs as they all run at 4000 or so rpm with the belt drive. I would look at the Honda Pioneer with a real transmission if your looking at a utility type machine.
I want to add a little to my post above, I spent the fall hunting season being ferried in a Honda pioneer 700, It has a 3 speed automatic trans, pretty much like tits on a boar hog.

Ok. Makes sense. I have a rancher and a p500, both with 5 speeds that are great. IMO opinion a quad and sxs really dont compare. A quad with power steering, independent suspension, and an automatic trans are the best off road and working. A SxS needs a big motor so you can basically use it like a small jeep with passengers.

I have both atv and sxs. I much prefer the sxs these days. I can bring more gear when I camp off it which is often. What I dont like is towing a trailer!. There is a lot of places I take my truck where I cant tow a trailer. The atv gets the nod for those situations. There is certainly pros and cons for both.

We got a Kawasaki Teryx this spring. The ride is amazing offroad compared to anything else I have used, but being in the elements (mostly dust) is rough and having to trailer it everywhere gets to be a pain. I miss my Tacoma and will probably end up getting another one.
