Is the APLR15 different than APLR16?

Eurooptic has a Midas TAC gen 2 5-30x56 for $499. It’s listed as item number 213087 with APLR15 reticle.

Athlon website has that item number as 5-30x56 with APLR16 reticle.

Athlon lists APLR15 only on the Midas TAC 6-24x50.

Looks like somebody’s wires are crossed (could be mine).

I tried to chat up Eurooptic support but couldn’t get an answer.

Waking this up to share my experience, may help someone.

My understanding is that the 15 is non-illuminated and the 16 is illuminated. On another note, the 16 (maybe the 15 too) are UHD while other reticles in the Midas TAC G2 are HD. The addition of UHD was made after boxes printed so there is confusion on boxes, ads at several sites, and forums.

I picked up a Midas Tac G2 5-30x56 with the APLR16 in MIL. It is illuminated and can confirm that it is the UHD vs HD glass in other reticles.

This has been a fantastic scope so far and I would buy again. That said, in my switch to MILs over the last year or so I am switching all scopes out to MIL. I also picked up an Ares ETR G2 and it is great as well.
