Been using these cams for going on 5 seasons and pretty dang happy with them. Brock & Ryan are giving them a run this year, including the lastest release, EDGE 3 https://www.moultrie.com/edge-3-cellular-trail-camera

I've got Mark Olis recording an episode with me on Tues 7/29. If you have any questions, especially about the Edge Cellular line, post them here.

My question is "can you please get us the option to set upload times" and "can you please allow the battery meter to read lithiums"

any others?

Ask them about the viability of sending low resolution photos via satellite. I think this would be a great tool for trappers who operate in remote areas outside of cell coverage. If you could get a grainy photo of your set every 8 hours or so, it would be useful for planning your trap checks.

I'd be interested to hear his thoughts on ethics, regulation, and the future of cell cameras. With a 2 and 4 yo at home it's nice saving the card pull trips, but also feels wrong when you're picking a spot based on "immediate" information.

To me it all comes down to how "immediate" is defined. Personally I'd like to see game agencies get ahead of this with a delay timeframe. i.e. cell photos transfer with a 1-2 week rolling delay. This potential solution would have to come from the states as it wouldn't be in a cell cam companies best interest to handicap their products while others may not do so.

Interested to hear opinions from someone with a financial stake in their future.
