Has anyone spent alot of time trying out Asio Gear? I'm fully tapped out with merino base layers and now I'm onto outer wear. Needing midweight gear mainly and looking at Asio

I used their bibs and late season jacket last season for whitetail hunting and plenty of hunts in the teens and lower and I was able to sit comfy all day and their stuff performed great that entire late season, very very durable and the quietest I’ve come across it’s on par with some of the Sitka primaloft stuff when it comes to quietness and warmth. Not sure about their mid weight stuff but not many company’s get late season gear right and Asio did so I’d put confidence in their mid weight outer layers especially in the durability department.

How did the outer material fare? I'm not a big fan of fleece exteriors because it will pick up every tiny bit of brush in the woods.

So it’s not like a traditional fleece feel it’s crazy durable and soft it reminds me of Sitka rain jackets like their goretex thunderhead, it’s softer to the touch but has a very durable feel to it.

I have the mid season bibs and jacket. I also have the beanie and neck warmer. Solid stuff. It’s worked for me from 50 down into the low 30’s with layers. The inner lining is like a sherpa fleece type. The exterior is soft and pretty quiet. No issues with durability.
