Has anyone spent alot of time trying out Asio Gear? I'm fully tapped out with merino base layers and now I'm onto outer wear. Needing midweight gear mainly and looking at Asio

How did the outer material fare? I'm not a big fan of fleece exteriors because it will pick up every tiny bit of brush in the woods.I used their bibs and late season jacket last season for whitetail hunting and plenty of hunts in the teens and lower and I was able to sit comfy all day and their stuff performed great that entire late season, very very durable and the quietest I’ve come across it’s on par with some of the Sitka primaloft stuff when it comes to quietness and warmth. Not sure about their mid weight stuff but not many company’s get late season gear right and Asio did so I’d put confidence in their mid weight outer layers especially in the durability department.
So it’s not like a traditional fleece feel it’s crazy durable and soft it reminds me of Sitka rain jackets like their goretex thunderhead, it’s softer to the touch but has a very durable feel to it.How did the outer material fare? Yes and yes! Very durable and very warm. If you have a long hike in to your hunting spot I wouldn’t recommend wearing them in but they can be packed down I run mine on my lonewolf .5 seat fastened by some bungie cords and throw them on when I get to my tree base. All in all I haven’t ran anything as warm as Asio so far.Still using this set? Still positive feedback?
Good deal. The older I get, the colder I get. I would use them mainly for archery when it’s between 10-40 degrees. Are they too bulky to shoot a bow? Seems like they would not be since they seem to be tailored to archery hunters.Yes and yes! Very durable and very warm. Not too bulky in my opinion the bibs are slightly baggy in the legs but the jacket fits very nice and the arms are tighter to reduce string slap on clothing.Good deal.
