I am unsure about which arrow spine i should buy. I have a mathews vxr maxed out at 75# at 30” draw. If i want to shoot the black eagle x-impact the chart recommends a 250 spine. Except i also want to add the FOCUS system for a little extra point weight and reinforcement. Is a 250 spine too weak if i have 180 grains of point weight? Or should i bump up to the 200 spine?

Have similar specs as you but 70#. I shoot X-Impacts or Element Storm 300 with 175 grains up front. I had to cut my arrow shorter than most like to get it to spine out.

I'd recommend 250 spine with 75#.

Thanks for the reply and recommendation.

qSpine says 250 is perfect with a 30" carbon-to-carbon length at those specs.

Bow inputs: 344 fps IBO, 75# DW, 30" DL, 28" ATA, 6" BH, 85% LO
Arrow inputs: 30" C2C, 100 gr point, 80 gr insert, 9 gr nock, 3 vanes at 7 gr each

I run a V3X draw weight of 78.2lbs and 30” with 250 spine cut to 29”. 150 grain point weight. Seems to work well for me.

Ive found that a 29.75 300 spine rampage arrow with 205 up front had great FOC and flew nice out of #70lb 30” bow
