I'd also like to mention that weeks before I left, I was notified by a few industry contacts that he told if they did not pull their support of me that they would no longer be promoted by him or Kifaru. There have been posts about this in the past, but they alway get deleted by mods.

That is as much as I need to say, this doesn't need to turn into a bash fest, but I am one of MANY MANY people that have experienced this but it always gets brushed under the rug.

I will say Aron has done a lot of good for the outdoor industry, he is an expert in many things archery, hunting, and survival. I considered him to be a mentor and really like an older brother. It has taken some time, but I don't hate the guy. I think he needs to put in a lot of work to be a better person and I hope his new gig is successful.
Life’s too short to work for people like that. Glad your doing well

You are a bigger man than me. At this point, if he was still involved with Kifaru I would be unloading everything I have. And I certainly will not be giving a dime to BP. This is the kind of stuff that gets under my skin. You were a good friend of his, by his own admission. As a business owner myself, I cannot imagine treating someone like that. Especially someone I called a friend and who was instrumental in my success. Glad things are going well for you and hope they continue in that direction.

Well in all fairness i couldnt support the K anymore after Aron said he would ruin my career in the outdoor industry when i left kifaru and also fired me when i accepted his severance offer because it was “offered in passing” verbally.

I thought I had heard some of that somewhere else. But I really dont doubt it.
I dont know Aron but have talked to him and he seemed like a down to earth guy. But after hearing things like this and some other stuff I have heard here and there it changed the way I thought.
I can see where Arons Success would lead to things like this. Personally I think the "Authority" and Money change people. Just in my experience.
Glad your doing your own thing Frank.

There’s a pattern though, he goes through people.

There was something special about the company and podcast when it was in Colorado. Back when the reviews weren’t paid advertisements, hunt success stories seemed earned from hard work and gear was put first from prototype testing.

I decided to go back to school. I'm about half way through getting my bachelor's in computer science and recently landed a job at an engineering firm in Denver after a summer internship. I'm retired from the outdoor industry for now ;), but still get my hunts in weekend-warrior style. Life is good!
Glad you’re doing well Frank!

Frank, I've spent the better part of 30 years hoping to find a hunting pard that had the mettle you're made out to have. Anyone who takes that for granted has a lot better luck than I ever have.

Keep on being that quiet badass and know there's a lot of unknown folks who have a ton of respect for what you have displayed.

And he was just talking on a pod about how much that whole situation hurt him….maybe in the long run he’ll grow from it, but man, that’s just wrong on multiple levels. I’ve always wondered what your side of the story was and it’s good to hear it from you.

Glad to hear you’re onward and upward man, that’s a tough path to get there but sounds like you aren’t letting it keep you down. I really enjoyed all of the podcasts you did. Good luck!

Mods typically do a dam fine job.
Hope that shit has stopped and seems good .
Don’t be pulling post because it don’t fit the agenda.

Excellent choice of career! My wife is a cloud engineer for a big tech company. I wish I had known about computer science as a career option though my current role as a trophy husband is pretty hard to beat...

He sounds tired and burnt out. Almost like he's offering an olive branch.

I'm not going to dismiss his feeling or say they aren't valid, but the thing about podcasts and social media is people like him will say anything and a large part of their audience is going to believe it and not question it.

I completely understand being let go if you don't move with a company. That was my decision and I am fine with the consequences, but making it a point to ruin someones career is unethical and immoral. His actions are especially hypocritical considering his claims that Kuiu tried to do the same to him.

I'm not looking for sympathy, but I think it is important for people to start speaking up. Like I said, I am one of MANY people that he has done this to. There has to be some accountability. I forgive the guy, but like coach prime says "I keep receipts".

After all of the fawning Snyder did on social media about how you, and how you were a brother, and that he'd do anything for you! The truth will always sneak out the cracks.

Well done chasing a job out of the industry. You're trophy room will benefit.
