9 pages, and I haven’t seen enough ideas that couldn’t be summed up in a couple posts, mostly focused on Snyder’s character. I’m way more interested in the conversation that needs to be had with non hunters when they see a video like this:
I’m generally of the opinion that people should know that their food has to die to be eaten, and it helps to appreciate the gravity. There is no death that isn’t ugly to some extent if you dwell on it. We’re sinners in a fallen world, and things die so we can eat. It’s hard to talk about animal cruelty without that baseline. Anyways, regarding this video:
1. I’d rather see the coyote die quickly than be left to rot in a fence row
2. Bad decisions tend to compound;
3. A gun would be much better, but we do dumb things like leave guns on the glassing knob sometimes.
4. There’s a huge difference between animal cruelty and making multiple compounding bad decisions.
I’m no Snyder fanboy but that video was pretty underwhelming after the way guys hyped it up.
