The coyote was attacking a ranchers calf... coyote ends up wounded... Aron drags it out of the brush, chases it down kicks it in the head then stabs it... coyote dispatched within 30 sec.

Have you ever seen hog hunters with dogs stab a pig?

I joined this forum in 2017 and about 70% of the members at that time had enormous man crushes on Aron. Everyone was wearing and promoting Kifaru packs. Its wild to see the difference now in 2026 with seemingly no one liking Aron, Kifaru or Born Primative.

Personally I always thought he was arrogant and never really liked him. Its beyond my comprehension that a guy in his position would think it was OK to be filmed doing something like this.

He always seemed like a questionable personality. I am skeptical of anyone who claims that every relationship they have had fall apart on them, including multiple marriages, wasn't there fault. At some point, there is a common denominator.

It looks to me like a guy who's filled with adrenaline who's never dispatched a yote with a knife before and not being very good at it. The head stomp after he knifed it I could see being a failed attempt to pin the head down so he could stab it again. I don't want to come off like I'm defending the guy because I'm not and I've never been a fan of his even when RS loved him, just trying to view it with an open mind and not go 0-60 because I'm already not a fan of his. I just don't see a torture aspect to the video, *unless* he had a firearm and thought it would be cool to film a knife kill in which case have at him and yeah I don't like that. I tend to give most people the benefit of the doubt and I'm viewing the video with the assumption that there's a reason he didn't just shoot it because nobody really knows those details.
