Aron Snyder fired from Born Primative

saw the video.. meh! piss on BP

The coyote was attacking a ranchers calf... coyote ends up wounded... Aron drags it out of the brush, chases it down kicks it in the head then stabs it... coyote dispatched within 30 sec.

Have you ever seen hog hunters with dogs stab a pig?
What do hunters do after shooting a turkey.
Run up on it and ring its neck, step on its head.
Ya there needs to be more context for sure.
How about shooting a coyote in the ass so he spins, than a few more hits for fun.
Lot of guys going to throw stones.

Commercial/influencer hunting videos all pretty much suck…… simply 30 minute commercials for equipment, clothing, or personalities.

On the flip side, the free you tube videos put out by regular people are oftentimes outstanding. They are the only outdoor videos i bother watching.

Man, I want to say we don’t know the context. But there’s zero chance that one of the biggest hunting influencers who preaches about being ethical and prepared didn’t have a single bullet or arrow between him and his crew to put in the dog. Yes the coyote was killing cattle. That’s what they do. They arnt doing it to be dicks. Kill them yes, don’t need to record them getting tossed, kicked, tapped, taunted, and stabbed. Should have been a walk up to it and put a bullet in it. Just because it’s killing cattle doesn’t mean it deserves to be tortured.

The difference here is you and your father didn’t film it. That’s the problem with this world, everything has to be documented for likes and subscribers.

If they didn’t film no one would be talking about it right now.
I'm in agreement there, I honestly hate the film everything crowd. Can't even go to a metal concert without people pointing phones and staring at the phone instead of the show. But filming it doesn't magically turn a normal dispatching act into torture IMO. I think the video was him just being goofy and not being very good at dispatching a yote with a knife and maybe a little jumpy and afraid of getting bit. Torture would've been to leave that yote in the bush with it's guts hanging out like so many people do "shoot in the gut so they run off and die."

Ya I actually broke down and watched a muleyfreak video last week just because of a gun he was shooting.
What a total douche and I would have to say that about anyone who fallows him.
I watched a sheep hunt last night from a guy with like 100 followers and it was fantastic.

Ya born primitive won’t make it.The shit they put out is worse than this video!

I'm a fan of Aron and like a lot of the content he's put out over the years.

I've been in a position of not having a firearm handy and having to dispatch an animal that's been wounded. Sometimes it goes easy and sometimes it doesn't. Regardless, I've never considered filming the dispatch of a wounded animal and posting it on social media; especially when things get a bit messy.

I don't necessarily have a huge problem with having to chase a coyote, trip it over, and then stab it, in an effort to finish the job as quickly as possible, but the video doesn't look good and it would no doubt have been better if it never made it to the internet.

Now, unfortunately, despite how much good Aron has done for the community, and despite how good the new BP pack may or may not be, this will be a topic of discussion for a long time, and be something that is argued over by the community, further contributing to and highlighting the division amongst us.

As much as I hate social media things I think I would definitely film a buddy going after a yote with a knife so I can laugh at him repeatedly and show everyone we know when he gets bit..
You and I have conversed on a few occasions and I believe you to be a solid person.

I highly recommend watching the video and then making a decision.
