Honestly though, this sucks. I think aron has had a rough go of it. Maybe self induced but still hate to see a guy struggle. I was happy for him hooking up with BP, getting the new pack across the finish line, etc.

The video was rough to watch and this is coming from someone that had been a part of some damn gruesome animal deaths.

The antis will look for any reason to circle the wagons and this video is a bad look for everyone on rokslide.

Like I said, just a really shitty deal all around.

I have zero context and am not in the know. I just googled the video though and first link that popped up was women for wolves and a few more anti hunting pages posting it.

Watched most of it, regardless of how you feel about it, absolutely terrible look for all hunters. I imagine it’ll have some very real consequences for all of us in the near future. Stupid to film it, stupid to share it, stupid in general.

This is a bad look for the industry, no matter how you look at it. At least a few bad decisions led to this video existing.

It could be argued that he didn't have a gun close, could have assumed it was dead. Should he run back and get it, or put it down quick while not trying to get a rabies shot. How often does hunting go perfectly to plan?

And it gets posted after all this time.. why? Who did he piss off?

Man I'll be honest... I hope he gets run through the wringer. If you are willing to record yourself torturing an animal, you need a serious, aggressive wakeup call before you cross the very short bridge between that and harming a person.

That's where I'm at. For the folks saying it's the same as dispatching a hog, there's a night and day difference between the two. It's clear there was no intent to kill that coyote with the stab or any urgency to kill it.

Who walks up to any kind of animal they have just shot without a gun? Let’s be real here. I mean my shotgun comes with me when I run out to pick up stone dead geese in the decoys. I have zero doubt a firearm was close at hand.

I agree, sounds harsh. But man it is just so exhausting to see these infleuncer types TRASHING the historical reputation of outdoorsmen as stewards of our natural resources. Not a single hunting season since COVID has it been possible to go a week without reading about some idiotic stunt one of these guys (or girls) has pulled.

So, yeah. Glad to see a company axed him, and yes, I hope this follows him closely enough that the next wannabe D list internet celebrity thinks twice before doing, recording and posting something similar.

I could see the distaste in the video and why it wasn’t posted in the first place. I’m the exact opposite of a fan of Aron and view him as a douche. However, I wonder how many people commenting on this thread have some pretty questionable videos and search histories on their phones that they certainly wouldn’t like leaked… now if he posted that video on his own accord on SM I’d say roast him on the stake. But, who the eff hired a private investigator to reveal all of this? I swear this industry would eat its own and sacrifice the right to hunt in its wake.
