As much as I hate social media things I think I would definitely film a buddy going after a yote with a knife so I can laugh at him repeatedly and show everyone we know when he gets bit..

There is also a big difference between filming it and filming it and posting it for the world to see.

In the post scotti said it happened ~8 years ago. Yote ate a calf and was shot. Looks like he went in to kill it after it was shot and it looked to me like his actions were more to avoid not getting bit while using a knife.

Just like most things in this day and age, people can view the exact same situation and come to two completely different conclusions of what they saw, based on projecting their own values onto it.

To me, as someone who cares very much about killing an animal as cleanly and efficiently as possible, irregardless of wether it is a prey animal or predator, this was not that.

This is a bad look for the industry, no matter how you look at it. At least a few bad decisions led to this video existing.

Does it matter? He's reaping his participation trophy either way. There's no statute of limitations on the internet, especially when you make a living on your internet influence.
