Only got about 1.5 miles in last night....no bugles so far.

Working our way in another couple miles.

We did have an encounter with a 300lb cinnamon bear about twenty minutes ago!

Okay, from reading over the packing list in this post trying to get ideas due just moving to the springs and having to start fresh will "all" gear, how in the heck can you afford all this brand name gear? With me being new to hunting CO, and being in the military, I am on a tight budget. What gear would be good enough for starting off? My bow is all set up and right now I have Nikon Prostaff 7 binoculars. But now I need everything else.

Hiked the three miles out last night and hiked into a new spot this am. Doug spotted elk on the hillside when we were setting up camp, so hopefully something hits the ground soon!
