Heck yeah. I'm hoping to get out and do more bird hunting this year vs. last year.

It was definitely down in New Mexico this past year. Been a decently wet spring so we will see!

Time of rains affect the different quail populations in AZ. For the Gambel’s, winter rains do the most good. We didn’t have that much, this past winter.

As an out of stater that quail hunt is on my bucket list. Watching weather to determine where rains are ect. Do you guys like the NOAA app or another to watch what’s going on with rain in other states?

Up here it's bad so far. 4 to 6 covey's no baby's yet. No grass, weeds are brown and down, not to mention the Raptor's easy pickings for them. Hope we get some monsoons, to late to help this years brood, might make it good for next year.
