You don't know what my beliefs are...speak for yourself and I will do the same.

And you should allow others to do the same as well. Neither you nor I have a right to impose our will on others. It's fundamentally wrong on all kinds of levels.
Really? We don't have the right to legislate our beliefs?

Have you ever heard of slavery? Lots of peopled BELIEVED in slavery...thought it was a great thing. For thousands of years this was the "belief" of people.

Guess how we got rid of it....through legislation! OH MY GOODNESS! HOW IMMORAL OF THE GOVERNMENT TO IMPOSE IT'S BELIEFS ON EVERYONE!!

Guess you'd need to go do some research on all the different possible reasons. My simple guess is with the 3 couples I know that adopted it took between 20 months and up to almost 36 months to get all the money they needed saved and then get approved to adopt. The latest couple I know got approved for adoption on a Thursday, and brought their son home that Saturday. So if it wasn't so expensive and time consuming, maybe the foster homes would be empty.
Kids are expensive, no doubt about it.

Arguments like this are offensive to people who possess logic.

What do you call it when one individual intentionally kills another?

Now, since you’ve decided that it isn’t an actual living and breathing human being(it is) why is it that you can be charged with double murder for killing a pregnant woman?

What would it be if a person miscarriages? Manslaughter depending on lifestyle, if they have a high risk situation and try anyway? Once you make it “criminal “ the impacts will be large. Insurance needed and investigation into loss of a fetus. Will be interesting….

Another thread derailed by Buzz. Instead of talking about a looming recession and skyrocketing inflation this has turned into an abortion discussion.

And that is why the opinion leaked during the ramp up for mid terms, get people talking about something else.
Be interesting to see which party affiliation leaked it.

You don't think adding millions of people to the US population is relevant to a discussion of recession, inflation, resource scarcity, tax implications, social programs and economic impacts?

I guess we will agree to disagree on that.

Don't worry Buzz, people will still be able to have abortions. It just might be a little effort in some places if this actually happens. In the meantime, abstinence, protection, birth control, and the day after pill are still viable options. All of this you know.

I like how during Covid you argued that people should just deal with options being forced on them by the Government due to the risk of loss of life. Now that it's something you don't agree with this "potential" ruling kicking the choice to the states you are upset. Do the unborn who are facing certain death from abortion deserve the same consideration that someone facing a 99% survival rate from Covid ? Does society carry this burden of economic strife from the Covid decisions as you propose modifying RVW would "perhaps" do ?

You are being dramatic and making up a scenario that millions of unwanted babies will be cast upon society. This again "potential" ruling simply allows states to decide. That is it. If you are as smart as you tell everyone you are, you already know this. You are just derailing a thread and being a troll.

PS, I am pro choice. outside of late term abortion.

Have a good one

You are sadly mistaken, I'm upset about nothing.

What you have a problem with is the reality of what these decisions cause, that's a YOU problem, and yes you will be paying that price, socially, economically, etc.

We all will, just don't whine about it when you're held accountable for picking up the tab, because you absolutely will be. I'm probably in a small minority of people who have no issue paying taxes, doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Have a better one.

It’s funny watching you eat your words.
