i am 99% certain i would get busted here.

i was looking at that Burris Oracle bow sight. what a piece of technology!! i think it ranges and provides the dot in the correct location for you! (i was watching video while sitting in a meeting, so my volume was way way down - i could be sadly mistaken)

looks like companies like Garmin, IQ are coming up with their versions.

i bet these are like talking about E-bikes on mountain biking forums...:)

if companies are making and selling them, i assume there is a customer base they are looking at. i assume there are states these are legal? i ask because i honestly dont know.

Burris has a map on its website if the sight is legal or not or likely legal. So yes there are a lot of states that make it legal. But Idaho,Montana, Colorado,Oregon,Washington are not legal for Big game. Small game might be a different story.

In Alaska- the Garmin is legal if you are hunting with a general season/open harvest.

It is NOT legal if you are hunting a weapons restricted/archery only tag.

Here you go scroll to the bottom and they have an icon with a map

Thanks, that's where I was at but the map is just buried in one of the product pics rather than having any reference to it.
Here's the map for anyone interested:
