Are NM landowner tags weapon/season specific?

Just like the title says, are landowner tags in new mexico weapon/season specific?

It depends on whether it’s Ranch Only or Unit wide. I was gifted a RO cow tag and could choose any 5 consecutive day period between Oct 1 and Dec 31. I bought my son a UW cow tag this year, and it runs with the established season for the unit.

That makes sense for ranch only because I believe the land owner just gets a voucher and then you buy a tag to go along with it. Right?

With the UW tag, could he hunt any and all seasons established for that unit? Early archery, MZL, rifle etc? Or do you still pick one?

For UW you have to pick your hunt….which are the same seasons as the public draw.
