arcteryx knee pad question

So I just ordered some Arcteryx knee pads after Aron recommended them. I do love them and they save my knees, but I have a real problem getting them to not slide down my leg while walking, and the tightening straps always loosening. Any tricks or advice? Thought about Gorilla tape.

while its not the same situation as i havent used knee pads for hunting i wore them for work alot. i would just wear them low, below the knee where they would tend to fall to then hike my pant legs up a little when it was time to kneel and the pads would be in the propper place if that makes sense, took some getting used to but if u look at roofers or framers they all wear em like that
