That's where the term came from. They are supposed to pull ,but people literally get a 2 to 3 inch running start at their trigger and pluck it like a guitar string. It's quite funny to watch.

I feel ya, that's why I like the "pluck or slap" the trigger. I think of punches as going forward, but I also can be a dullard at times.
