Going to the archer range to try this out this weekend. Im terrible at estimating range and absolutely have to rely on it before taking a shot. Im not sure how well it work considering my setup is pushing 250 fps but we'll see.

I will always pack my rangefinder, in fact I wouldn't consider leaving camp without it - but it's sure nice not having to rely on it for closer encounters. I missed out on a few really good opportunities over the years because I was worried about ranging something I could have just shot using the trick-pin.
