Archery Bear Kodiak Island Vs Peninsula

Looking to book an archery hunt for an Alaskan brown bear on either Kodiak or the peninsula. Let’s hear your positives and negatives of each. Also if have any tips or outfitters to recommend feel free to share!

I've contacted several outfitters with the same goal. Most won't do archery hunts. I guess the risk is too high for them . There was one that does baited sites, but that's not my cup of tea.

Scott Mileur on Kodiak. I believe Scott took one himself with a bow. Call him and lay out your desires. He's honest as they come.

Your picking an outfitter who is skilled at taking bow hunters is more important than where you hunt.

I'll throw out Cole Kramer and Lance Kronberger as well. Cole guided Lee Lakosky to a giant on video and Lance guided Brendan Burns to two giants on video on the peninsula. You can search on YouTube for inspiration.
