Has anyone installed one of these on their Accura/Optima? details?

I have an Accura MRX. I'm wanting options for a better rest in the field than just a trigger stik. I figure with this I can clamp into tripod as well as try out some bipods.
Or should/could I do seperate plates and put the arca further back for better balance?

This is for the wife/kids backpack hunting the opensight deer and elk seasons, so trying to keep weight down over something like the deathgrip tripod.

I haven't installed one on a CVA but have one on a Rem700. The CVA that I shot last year had double sling studs on the forestock - It seems like this would make it really easy to install a short plate.

I haven't either, but it should be a fairly straightforward install with how flat the forend is on my Accura. You would want to check clearances on the backside for the ramrod, but I would think you could drill out material for a T-nut and use proper length screws to avoid any interference.
