I am beginning to wonder if she shot a deer on her husband’s tag, it would explain why he was quiet about the whole thing.

My thought was Easton grabbed the rifle from wife and tried to keep up with Aram knowing Aram intended to pop off a finishing shot. Resulting in Aram's mention of their "illegal" activity. Basically blackmail to keep the buck.

AVB alludes to some mischief on their part. My guess is he had the rifle and was going to finish off his wife’s deer.

Hell she probably couldn't keep up with Aram running after her deer. I don't blame hubby for that move.

Unless he actually shoots the deer, I don’t think that would be illegal. I am not aware of a law that says you must pack your own rifle.

70 yards? Where'd that come from? She claimed she could see it at 630, which is where she shot from. You missed my point.

She could see it at 630 yards but AVB was at 700 yards and claims he couldn’t see it. One would think with his experience he would easily be able to pick out the collar if she was able too.
