I will dispute that point. I was attacked by a grizzly bear in 2015. That bear chewed on my arm and hand while I fought it off. Idaho F&G took what was left of my glove, sampled it for DNA, and tracked it back to a bear they had collared, and actually trapped, about a month earlier. To this day I do not recall seeing a collar on that bear, from a distance of 1 foot from my head.
Getting charged then gnawed on by a griz and wondering if you're going to live beyond the next 30 seconds and taking a 730yd shot on a buck you're aiming at through a high powered scope are two completely different things.

I bet 99.9% of people wouldn't notice a collar on a g-bear as it was trying to rip their face off either.

Also, nice work fighting off a griz. That's some legendary $hit right there.

I've had way too many PMs about this thread.... its still hunting season! There's one less of you now. The threads back open; consider it a gift from me. The mods will shut it down if it gets stupid again.... well stupider.....

FuzzyWuzzy you sweet angel sent from above. Special crocs are on your way for Christmas this year.

She says she was shooting a 6.5 prc.
He never said what he was shooting.
Who knows if he actually hit the deer in the leg, or she did.
The way he acted, I don't put lying about a hit past him. Convenient that there's probably no way to tell caliber from a shot that busted a leg.
