I picked up the Harbor Freight dual drum tumbler to clean brass. Anyone using it? How much brass and media are you adding to each drum?

I have had one for years without issue. I usually do small batches, less than 50 pieces in walnut media.

I switched to the Frankford Arsenal Tumbler Lite and haven't looked back. It's a great unit.

I use a Harbor Freight Chicago Electric Dual Drum Rotary Rock Tumbler #67632 (https://www.harborfreight.com/dual-drum-rotary-rock-tumbler-67632.html) to tumble with steel pins. In each drum I put 1 pound of pins and 25 cases. I believe there are larger models - I also believe I could put more than 25 in each drum. However, I only load 50 at a time so this tumbler works just fine for me.

This is what I got. The motor seized up the first time I used it just now.

I've been using the HF single drum tumbler for a couple of years now. 1lb of pins. I shoot 7mm-08, 270, 30-06 and 300 WM. So, capacity varies by caliber.
