Anybody have any experience with these for mountain hunting? Looks like very versatile option. Especially considering that lots of shots in steep country in the mountains eliminate normal bipods from being used.

They're hands down the most useful and innovative hunting bipod on the market. Im not sure why nobody has followed their lead yet.

Looks like they would be pretty awkward to carry on the gun? I thinking it'd be best to carry in an easy access place on the pack, then quickly attach when needed? Also, can that be done quietly? The video I saw seems to show a pretty metallic positive click when the picatinny rail engages

No more awkward than a Harris bipod. It slides onto the rail and locks on with a spring loaded bar. It mounts easily, but I keep it mounted.

I have one. I think they’re a bit long in my opinion. I like the versatility, but I don’t like the size. I’ve used the Atlas and like it, but I feel the Atlas is not versatile enough being on the short side. For me to get into a good prone position I have to get the legs out to it’s widest position to be able to get into the scope. What’s is nice is that you can put the legs forward to get a good rest. There are a lot of options with it.

I have been using one for the last three years. It is only has a positive click when it hits home on the rail if you don't keep the QD button depressed. It is a quick and quiet attachment to the pic rail if you are cognizant of it.

With that said, I leave mine on the gun at all times which rides in the Kifaru gun bearer. I have no issues with it getting in the way whatsoever. Really like how useful it is in the variety of set up options, most of which I can manipulate while behind the gun.

Thanks for the input guys. Probably going to pick one up at some point here. Anyone want to part with theirs?
