Anyone seen AB Raptor 8s recently?

I've been trying to find one for a few months but it doesn't appear that they're in stock anywhere. I'm reluctant to put one on backorder at Silencershop if there isn't any timeline for when that order would get filled. Anyone out there with intel?

My belief is if silencershop is taking back orders they know cans are inbound shortly. Ie less than a month. If you want one I would not hesitate to get one on backorder.

I think you have to backorder a raptor and wait for it. I don't think they stock them. That was the way it was when I bought mine in April. I had to go thru Silencer Shop because they were the only source. I wish I could get them from Capital Armory but they said there isn't enough demand for their tastes.

They are in stock occasionally, mine was when ordered sometime last year from SilencerShop. I had to keep checking in for several months though.

East County Guns in Centralia, WA had one in the case last time I stopped in. It’s been a couple months since then. I haven’t purchased any NFA items from them thus far. So I have no idea how they are to deal with on that side of things.

Not specific to the Raptor 8, but I backordered 2 of the AB A10s through Silencer Shop and had them to my dealer in 2 weeks.

I’ve had a 10 stack 7.62 on back order with SS since February.

The last time I back ordered an AB can from silencer shop it delivered 4 weeks later.

I haven’t heard anything about AB having any manufacturing problems, or closing shop. So I’m hopeful. But if I’m being honest, a couple of TBac ultra cans came back in stock at capitol armory, and it really has me considering cancelling my back order.

I ended up cancelling my back order from Silencer Shop, and ordered a DD LTI through capitol armory. My form 4 was approved in under 24 hours.

I figure silencer availability and back order fulfillment are both about to get even more crazy. I didn’t want to go into this next hunting season without a 30 cal can
